Another Ride With Kev

Kev and I went on another ride into Marin Hwy One. We also checked out Lucas Vally Road. Last time I visited Lucas Vally Road it was being repaved. No, we didn't visit George Lucas but going through some of the forests did feel like I was on a speeder bike. We also stopped in Sausalito and relaxed and waited for the car pool/Motorcycle hour to start so we could get through the Golden Gate Bridge for free.

The XT225

The XT225 is probably one of the best versatile bikes around. I use mine as an all around town errand bike. Great on gas, great in crowded areas, not powerful enough to get you into trouble, perfect for the cities or for a farm. It came with knobbies but I got rid of them because most of the riding I do is on paved roads. Let be the first to say this little moto can take a beating too. Very reliable in all conditions. I would say the only thing that is a con for this motorcycle is cold starts. Sometimes the XT225 takes a bit to start in colder environments.

Los Altos

Gene & I finally went back to Los Altos. Geez, I haven't went shooting in over 6 months. Anyway, it was freezing down there even though it was close to the ocean. The problem is the little valleys and gullies keep the cold in. We still had a lot of fun. I only shot my .22's because Im to lazy to bring anything else because I hate cleaning after I shoot. Even with the danger of black ice I still saw a good amount of moto's out for their Sunday rides.
