The Races
I went to the Dainese Store today to check out the races on their big screen. Moto GP and World Superbike. I was a bit lazy and only made the World Superbike showing. Ben Spies pulls a double win in Utah. It was a good race and there was a lot of swapping places for 3rd, 4th, and 5th. My favorite rider Haga didn't fare so well. He managed to pull 9th for race one and 8th for race two. He's still ahead in the standings but Spies can easily catch up. Don't get me wrong I like Spies too. Some of my other riders I was cheering on are Zemke, and Kiyonari.

2 rides in 2 days
I went on two rides the past couple of days. One with a riding buddy and one by myself. I did the usual marin/Hwy 1 loop. Its my favorite twisty loop in the SF bay area.
Here's where my buddy and I stopped for a break. We decided to stop here because we've never stopped in Lagunitas when we do our usual loop. You can get your teeth worked on and have acupuncture done at the same time while selling your house.
Here's a shot of the place where I took a picture of Reg and the DRZ but this time with 'stubby' instead.

Steel Lines!!!
I just put on the Galfer Stainless Steel brake lines on my DRZ 400sm. OMG, what a difference steel lines make on a bike. Stoppies are even more easier to do. As per quality I would recommend Galfer lines for anyone looking to get some stainless steel lines.
I got a special made red line with red banjos.

Rear Tire!
I needed a new rear tire on my Supermoto so I got a Michelin Pilot Road tire. Its actually a sport touring tire. Its a bit heavier but I wanted longer wearing tire since I use my Motard mostly for my commute. Maybe next time I'll go for a more sporty tire. My brother has this tire on his Supermoto too and has got almost 6k miles on it and there's about 2k to 3k of tred left. Another thing cool is I got the tire mounted and balanced by Mototire Guy for $15 per wheel. If any of you live in the SF bay area I highly recommend this guy. You save a lot of money by buying the tire online & having it shipped to your place or having it shipped to Mototire Guy and then you just bring in your rim & old tire and you're in & out in less than an hour. MTG also installs the tire if you bring your bike in but that costs $35 per wheel. It beats all the local shop prices that I know of. In these tight times every penny saved helps. On a side note if you need him to get rid of your tires he charges $3 for tire disposal.
